What’s New for the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C 300?
The 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 300 Sedan is a driver favorite in the small luxury car class. Mercedes-Benz fans appreciate the superior appointments of the cabin and the powerful selection of engines. If you’re treating yourself to a new car this year, here’s what you need to know about the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 300 Sedan.
Just a few new features have been added to the brand’s C-Class for 2018. Last year’s seven-speed automatic transmission has been upgraded to a 9G-TRONIC 9-Speed automatic on all models. This technology comes with Driver Select, which allows the driver to customize their coupe’s handling with variable modes. A sunroof is also now standard in all trims, and a heated steering wheel has been introduced as an optional feature.
As with last year’s model, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 300 Sedan has room for five in plush, supportive seats. The interior is appointed with lush leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, Bluetooth®®***, and HD radio, as well as smartphone integration via both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You’ll also have an impressive selection of engine options, including the base engine, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 241 horsepower; a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that puts out 362 horsepower; a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that puts out 469 horsepower; and a 503-hp twin turbo V8. Though the 2018 model hasn’t yet undergone crash testing, it is expected to meet or exceed the performance of the 2017 C-Class, which received a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration and designation as a Top Safety Pick of the Insurance Institute on Highway Safety.
